I selected the middle line in the alley and adjusted it downward slightly to create a dip and then added two edges using the insert edge loop and adjusted them down slightly as well

To create I manhole I first used the insert edge loop to add two more edges on either side of one edge in the alley. In vertex mode I then selected the four inner vertices to form a square and then scaled them inward to form a roughly circular shape. I then selected the four faces of the circle shape and scaled the extrusion slightly inward. I then extruded the faces downward, extruded upward, and extruded one more time, scaling the faces inward.

To add a storm drain I added an edge with the insert edge loop near the end of the alley way with the storm drain. I added two more edges to the face where the storm drain will be to add width to the drain and added one more edge horizontal from the other edges. I then selected the top two vertices up against the curb and pushed them down and dragged them back over to the curb. I also added another edge to the outside of the drain to create another edge. I was supposed to add corresponding edges from the storm drain to the curb but because of a technical error that I couldn't fix I had to skip this step for the time being.

I used the insert edge loop to ad a line to the top of the curb near the edge and then using the vertices I made the curb somewhat irregular to make it more realistic.
