Making the Wires

I created a cone and selected the base and extruded the base inward and then extruded downward a couple more times.

I created a cylinder and then duplicated it and rotated it and moved the cross beam in front of the vertical beam and then grouped the two objects together to form the telephone pole.

I created a cube and moved it up against the building. I selected the front face and extruded inward twice then forward once and then I scaled the middle face inward and added resolution with the insert edge loop tool. I converted the polygon to a subdiv.

Using the CV curve tool I drew wires coming out of the top and bottom of the box and then moved the curves up against the building.  I then added another wire that comes from behind the first building and drapes over the telephone poll and onto another building. I duplicated the wire and moved it to the side slightly

To give the wires width I made two NURBS circles, one smaller than the other and I extruded the wires coming from the box with one circle and the wires over the telephone pole with the other.
