Creating the fender
Fig. 1
Traced the basic outline of the fender and then using bezier corners adjusted the splines so they followed the curves of the fender.
Fig 2
Used the fillet tool to round out the two corners.
Fig 3
Used the refine and refine connect tools to create quads.
Fig 4
After that I realized I had messed up and needed another vertex on the top right corner. To fix this I ended up first using the fillet tool to split the point in two and then changed them both to bezier corners and adjusted them to straighten out the lines.
Fig 5
Next I selected the vertices on the left side and pulled them out along the Y-axis to give the shape some depth and then did some tweaking of vertices so they looked better.
Fig 6
Attached the two sides and welded the center vertices together and then applied a surface to the fender.
Fig 7
Used the refine tool to connect the vertices and close the front part of this fender.
Fig 8
Drew a basic outline of the front fender and then changed the vertices to bezier corners to adjust the splines to the fenders curves. Then used the fillet tool to make the right corner rounded. Finally, using the refine tool I created a quad.
