Making the Forks

Creating the forks

Ungrouped the fenders and then cloned the back part of the fender and then decreased the surface steps to 4 and then changed it to an editable poly. Next I selected 4 sections of the poly and removed them from the fender copy and changed it to it's own geometry. Then I extruded the 4 sections so they would stand up off of the fenders
Using the create panel I drew a line to roughly follow the fork. Next I converted the line's vertices to bezier corners so that the line was curved. Lining up the line with the four polygons I then selected and extruded the top sections of the four polygons using extrude along spline and changed the taper amount and curve of the extrusion to make the triangular shape.

I selected the bottoms of the four polygons and extruded them to get the main part of the fork and then selecting the bottom rectangles of the extrusion used extrude again to get the rest of the fork.
I turned on NURMS and then using swift loop added resolution to the fork to add definition.

Used inset on the end of the cap and then extruded the inset to add some detail to the end cap. Then to make the raised area more defined I added a crease.
